It is a non-judgemental, powerful, adaptable and intuitive model for effective communication both with oneself and with others. The Insights evaluator is a powerful tool for personal discovery, for building teams, for 360 degree feedback, for measuring team effectiveness, for coaching and for enhancing one’s communication and people-engagement skills.
This is usually a one-day programme of great fun and learning where many points of contention, possible conflict and misunderstanding within teams are effectively removed - leaving a new model of communication between team members behind - and maximising the effective performance of management , HR, project, sales and teams of all sizes and purposes.
The process is initally based on a 4-quadrant system of personality profiling - which develops into a 72-part pesonality typing tool. It is highly accurate and a very powerful intervention for teams and inidviduals. It leaves a lasting legacy of the training day as people start to use the system as a common language of communication and understanding.
Because it is based on colours, the system becomes intuitively understood by delegates and by the end of the morning session - their perception on the world has been altered forever. Accredited by the British Psychological Society it has an impressive track record of success as a coaching and learning tool.For centuries, philosophers have identified four broad types of personality. The psychologist Dr Carl Jung further developed this idea in the 20th Century. He suggested that all four personality traits or energies are present in all of us and the different balances between them are what make us unique. The Insights Discovery Profile is a highly accurate and validated system for measuring those balances.
The full range of psychological types can be depicted on a circle we call the Insights Wheel. At its simplest it identifies four groups or quadrants - at Insights we call them Fiery Red©, Sunshine Yellow©, Earth Green© and Cool Blue©. All of us will have one of these ‘colour energies’ as our dominant, preferred style of thinking, working and interacting with others.
Each colour energy has its strengths and weaknesses, depending on the situation and your perspective! In a team setting, a professional with Fiery Red energy may appreciate the considerate and supportive inter-personal actions of a colleague with Earth Green energy, while they in turn might respect the bold, ‘go-ahead’ Fiery Red attitude. However during a challenging period, the Earth Green energy may find their colleague aggressive and controlling, while in turn, the Fiery Red energy may find the Earth Green stubborn, uncommunicative and unwilling to change.
